hellokorin holiday: wishlist exchange

It's the first week of December, and that means the start of my new blog post series—hellokorin holiday! As a countdown to the Christmas holidays (and to my vacation time, yay!), I'm putting together several #hkholiday guides to get you through the season.

First up: holiday wishlists with Basically Bubbly! The items topping her list are fun, flirty, and on-trend—just like her! Take a peek and read more about her picks below, then head over and find mine here.

LSTN Headphones "During my day job I work in an open office, and these gorgeous headphones would be perfect to help keep me focused."
Gold Flatware "This flatware is a dream item! With our new love of hosting parties, Jas and I could really stand to have some beautiful matching flatware, and gold matches everything!"
For Love and Lemons She's a Knockout Bra "Lacey and sexy. Need I say more?"
Sincerely Jules Cali Palms Tee "Every girl needs a reminder that it’s summer somewhere and it might as well be on your tee." (Oh no, already sold out! Similar here, and more Sincerely Jules tees here.)
Korres Lip Butter in Wild Rose "I am always looking for a rich hue without always having to use a lipstick. The wild rose shade is a perfect blend of berry for fall and winter."
K.Slademade Clutch in Tan Calf Hair "What's not to love about this clutch? I have been drooling over one of these since they first come out!"
Impossible Project Polaroid Film "Obsessed with Polaroids, but without film. It’s a problem."

What are you hoping to find under the tree this year? Tell me below!

Friday Five: Web Finds

Happy Friday! It's been a busy few weeks at work for me, and it's not going to let up soon, but at least tomorrow is the first official day of summer! The forecast around here is looking a little cloudy, so if you're spending it indoors (like me, who'll probably be working, catching up on laundry, and emptying my DVR), here are a few of my favorite finds from around the web this week to keep you entertained. Enjoy! xo

These shirts made me laugh.

I just ordered this and can't wait to try it out! Maybe my hair will look like the girl in the photo?

Friday Five: Pineapples!

Hello! It's finally Friday, AND a long weekend. If that's not a reason to celebrate with some Memorial Day sale shopping, then I don't know what is. If you're looking to add a few summer-inspired pieces to your closet or home, try something fruity! My favorite fruit style right now has to be pineapples, and I'm not alone. They're everywhere! Here are five pineapple-themed pieces I'm loving:

Pineapples

This refreshing trend is one of my favorites for the summer, but it can also easily go childish or tacky. Here are just a couple tips for wearing or decorating with fruit:

keep the color palette chic mixing the bright, primary colors of fruit can look kindergarten-esque so try picking one, or opt for prints in "unnatural" shades (ie muted tones or black and white) stick to one fruit piece wearing head-to-toe fruit can look like a costume, and when used in decor it can look like you're setting up for a luau pick pieces that showcase only one type of fruit—like pineapples! mixing multiple fruits can look kinda jumbled and can go "baby" in a heartbeat

Try it out for yourself, and let me know what you think! xoxo
